Functional Behaviour Support

Functional Behaviour Support at SAILs Psychology helps young people, families, and professionals understand why behaviours occur and what supports are needed to promote safety, wellbeing, and participation. We work across a wide range of needs including acquired brain injury, neurodevelopmental conditions, learning differences, SEND profiles, trauma histories, and complex behavioural presentations.

Our approach is grounded in functional analysis, trauma‑informed practice, and the principles of Positive Behaviour Support.
